The scope of APJW’s programs is limited to providing information in order to establish a community for post-divorce Japanese women.  The member can request individual assistance in dealing with their separation or divorce.  The individual assistance involves fees that are agreed to by the provider and the recipient.  The terms are written in a contract and signed by the parties and a witness who is either a senior member or a director of APJW (one of the board members).  The component of the provider-recipient relationship is the same as the scope of APJW’s programs; it is to provide information in order to build a community for post-divorce Japanese women.
