Association of Post-divorce Japanese Women(APJW) is a peer support group for immigrant Japanese women to share their experiences in facing a divorce in Ontario.
When immigrant women face a divorce in Canada, they face many challenges. If they have children, they need to make difficult decisions about them.
When these women unite together, they can avoid isolation that can help each individual move forward.
The sense of “not alone” will provide them a sense of community to hold them together and make them stronger.
